I just posted a blog earlier today about the new CD,
Alone II - The Home Recordings of Rivers Cuomo and the hootenanny at Fingerprints. The Press-Telegram was there with a video camera. You can actually see a sliver of my red sweater and the side of my head if you know exactly where to look (2:20-2:23 see the red sweater sticking out at the far right side of the screen. My husband's head and camera is pretty much in front of Rivers' face during the song Buddy Holly).
In any case, the event was rejuvenating. It felt good to be in a room full of musicians and fans who were all excited to be there. Turns out, some people travelled from out of state to participate. Lucky me, I practically coulda walked there. I also
wrote a story for the LAist. Check it out >>>
