As if attending a roller derby match between the L.A. Riettes and Santa's Little Helpers isn't cool enough, the Derby Dolls have just announced that Gene Simmons (former Kiss bassist) will play bass guitar while his daughter, Sophie Tweed-Simmons and long-time parther Shannon Tweed open the event with the singing the national anthem. After the anthem is sung, the mayhem begins when Derby Doll all-stars, the LA Ri-ettes compete against a group of national all-stars, Santa's Little Helpers.
