The unexpected death of Micheal Jackson took many by surprise in more ways than one. My experience is that even though I can’t call myself a fan, it’s impossible to deny the impact his music made on my entire life.
I didn’t realize it until now that for many years of my life, Micheal Jackson and the Jackson 5 were the background music to my youth and listening to these old songs brings back visceral memories of days gone by.
Michael Jackson had gifts and talents unlike any other. He shared those gifts with the world and made it a better place. My hope is that we can each be so lucky and so brave as to do the same.
