Between Christmas Eve and New Years Eve I will post my top eight favorite songs of the year. These tunes were selected from the 51 songs of the week that were submitted by Michael Zampelli during 2010.
Song number six for 2010 is Barbara Streisand by Duck Sauce. There are a few reasons that come to mind when I think of why I chose this song: 1) I see the vivid imagery of music video "Anyway" as soon as I think of Duck Sauce and that is pretty irresistable, 2) The idea of dedicating an entire song to a Diva who "made it" in New York is just plain classy and 3) The filming style with a hand-held camera feel of be-boppin' around town reminds me of the Beastie Boys which makes this tune and the video one big ball of awesome memories. How can I resist?
