Lyrics to Since Yesterday by Strawberry Switchblade:
Just close your eyes and then remember
The thoughts you've locked away
When tomorrow comes you'll wish
You had today
And as we sit here alone
Looking for a reason to go on
It's so clear that all we have now
Are our thoughts of yesterday
If you're still there when it's all over
I'm scared I'll have to say
That a part of you has gone
Since yesterday
And as we sit here alone
Looking for a reason to go on
It's so clear that all we have now
Are our thoughts of yesterday
La La La La...
Well, maybe this could be the ending
with nothing left of you
A hundred wishes couldn't say
I don't want to
And as we sit here alone
Looking for a reason to go on
It's so clear that all we have now
Are our thoughts of yesterday
La La La La...
It's so clear that all we have now
Are thoughts of yesterday

Tuesday, September 9th, 2008
In Victimology class we talk about how the actions of one person impacts many. This video is a perfect example. It would be tempting and common to look at this video and get caught in the drama. It would be easy to judge it and analyze it.
I challenge you to do this: notice, that in a crowd of thousands, only one punk guy caused the whole problem. One guy put a halt to a concert and created negative vibes for thousands of people. Sometimes we forget to look at the big picture because we are zeroed in on the drama. We fail to realize how much we have in common, how powerful unity could be. Please take a moment to consider it. Just for laughs :)

Here are the song lyrics for Jerk it Out by The Caesars
Wind me up
put me down
start me off and watch me go
I'll be running circles around you sooner than you know
A little off center
and i'm out of tune
just kickin this can along the avenue
But i'm alright
coz it's easy once you know how it's done
you can't stop now
it's already begun
you feel it
running through your bones
and you jerk it out
jerk it out
shut up
hush your mouth
can't you hear you talk too loud?
No I can't hear nothing 'cause I got my head up in the clouds
I bite off anything that I can chew
I'm chasing cars up and down the avenue
But that's ok
coz it's easy once you know how it's done
you can't stop now
it's already begun
you feel it
running through your bones
and you jerk it out
jerk it out
